I give thanks to the One who created me. He knew me before the creation of the world. He is always with me. I thank Him for the beautiful wife he has blessed me with. I thank Him for the child she is carrying inside her. I thank Him for our precious 20-month old son. How awesome he is!
I thank Him for the loss of my job, for it has brought about a new career path that will give me more time to spend with my growing family. It will also give us time to sink our teeth more deeply into our Lords Word. We want to be able to start a ministry, and this is the vehicle that will help us accomplish that.
I thank God for the blessing of all my family and friends. I thank God for the way that some have rejected me because I am not the same person I used to be. I thank God because the old has been cast away and all things have become new.
I thank God for the gift of His incredible Holy Spirit! He is always with me. Giving me comfort when I need it and reassuring me that all things work together for the good of those that our called according to His purpose.
I thank God for the gift of His Son! I thank Jesus for taking my sins upon Himself and suffering in my stead. I thank Him for offering me the free gift of eternal life. I did nothing, absolutely nothing to deserve this gift. However, it was freely given.
I pray that those that do not yet know the Savior will have their hearts softened through the work of the Holy Spirit.
I pray that those that take the name of the Lord Jesus upon their lips and yet live according to their own desires will examine their hearts to see if they are truly in the faith.
I thank God for, well, EVERYTHING!!!
