Thank You

I am sitting here in between quoting families for Life & Health Insurance. I am thinking about how blessed I am, far more than I deserve. I have the most beautiful, wonderful wife and my two children are beyond description. I feel bad because I know that in the pressures of everyday life I often take them for granted. I pray that the Holy Spirit gives me wisdom and guidance in how I live in relation to them. I never, ever want to forget that they are all gifts from my Heavenly Father. I know I need to raise my children to love Jesus and to make Him the Lord of their lives. Nothing else matters in the view of eternity.
Thank you for letting me take a few minutes to share my thoughts.
God Bless!!

Slipknot & Prager

Okay, I heard an awful display of ignorance this morning on the Dennis Prager Show. Mr. Prager is a Jewish man that has a national radio show. He is sympathetic to the Christian faith, and at times appears ready to become a Messianic Believer. However, on his show this morning he was touting a Heavy Metal group that his son loves. Mr. Prager sees nothing harmful with allowing his son to listen to Slipknot. Mr. Prager even declared that when teenagers listen to Classical music it makes them aggressive, but Heavy Metal has a calming effect on them. What?! Of course, he had nothing to back up this ignorant statement. Please email Mr. Prager and voice your opinion on this issue. I suggest he do a show and invite someone knowledgeable on this issue. A couple of ideas would be Pastor Joe Schimmel http://www.goodfight.org/
or Eric Holmberg http://www.r2rministries.com/index.html
Your can contact Dennis Prager @ dennisprager@dennisprager.com

URGENT PLEA FROM DARRELL SCOTT

Please read this carefully and thoroughly. If Rachel Scott's story has had an impact on your life we are asking for your help! This is not a plea for money, but it is a plea for you to watch a short 7 minute film clip about Rachel Scott. Go to www.amazon.com/screeningroom to see the clip. It was put together by a producer who is working closely with me on a television documentary that features Rachel’s life. He submitted a condensed version to enter into a short film contest put on by Amazon. Out of over 1,000 entries, it emerged as one of the five finalists. All I am asking is that you watch the clip and then give your review, which will hopefully be 5 stars. You can also give comments. Rachel’s story and life will be honored even more than before, if her clip wins first place. Please contact everyone you know by email and phone to have them review the clip as well. They can do so up until Friday, June 17.

Monday Morning Christians

First off, I am sorry I have not posted in so long. I have been busy with my job and most importantly, our newborn blessing. I have written about our persecution at the hands of our own family members. You know the story, I don't have to go into it.
Sitting in Church a feeling came over me. I'm sure it was the Holy Spirit. He is sooooooo awesome!! Anyway, He led me to realize that the Church is filled with those that wave their arms and sing praises to our Lord on Sunday and then do nothing the other six days of the week. They feel as if they do not have to get in the game. They are comfortable with their positions as bench warmers. They feel that it would make no sense for them to get on the field and risk ridicule and injury when others can do it. Those on the field lay it all on the line. However, to the bench warming Christians, the entire team gets the ring if they win it all.
When things start to heat up, instead of suiting up, they become ostriches. Ray Comfort has said that nothing wastes your time more than a false convert. He is right. Those that believe they can do-as-thou-wilt and still have a ticket to Heaven are sadly mistaken. They do not want to get their hands dirty in the battle for souls. We need to support each other as Believers. It is hard enough to witness to someone, we do not need "Christians" telling us that we "Come on too strong" when all we are doing is talking to someone about their eternal life. How sad that it is said that Christians "Come on too strong" or that we "Cram it down their throats" when it is perfectly okay for them to use foul language, talk about the awesome dirty movie they saw, etc... and we are to say nothing about it.
I am just venting. I will try to be more consistent in my posting. Thank you for reading my thoughts.
God Bless!!
