I sit here at my computer tonight while my wife is putting our breathtaking little son to bed. I wonder why God has blessed me so generously. I have more, much more than I deserve. You see, to those who know me, those that see things from the world's point of view, I could be doing a lot better. They see the fact that we live in a one bedroom condo. They see that I have recently lost my job and we have another blessing due in May. They see that our car is ten years old.
But what is reality?
Why don't they see what really is?
Why?
It is because they live to please man. Man says that the secret to happiness is a big house, a nice car and a big bank account.
Why?
Do they not know that all of that matters not?
Jesus said that we should seek first the Kingdom of God.
Why?
That is all that matters. Period.
God will take care of us.
He always has.
He has given us more than we could have ever asked for.
He knows what we need before we do.
Why am I so confident?
Why am I not afraid?
Why?
Because He Lives!!
That's why.

Hey! I'm right there with you. I have two vehicles. One is 11 years old the other 13. I didn't get into the ministry to get rich, that's for sure. My kids are older, but I can empathize. I constantly hear it from my in-laws. You've chosen the good way to true riches.
I have Faith that Our Lord will lead you into the right job,where you will be able to serve Christ in what you do every day.Until then God will provide.
I have such peace having you as my son-in-law, watching over our daughter,as her husband and spiritual leader of the family,with Christ as your center and focus. I thank the Lord. We love you !
